Properly functioning lights and signals contribute immensely to safe driving. It is difficult to ensure the functioning of lights and signals from the driver seat. Proper inspection during routine service is necessary to ensure that your lights and signals and functioning properly.
In addition to keeping the lights and signals working, these are some of the tips that can be helpful:
- Keep the lights and signals clean and free from dirt so that is clearly visible to other drivers on the road.
- Make sure that the headlights are properly aligned/aimed. If your headlight is not precisely adjusted, it can blind the driver in the opposite direction or leave you blind on difficult roads.
- If there is any doubt on whether or not your headlights should be on, turn them on. Lights not only help you see better in early twilight, they also make it easier for other drivers to see you.
